About Domino's Pizza

Domino’s Pizza has established itself as a global leader in the pizza delivery industry, and the location at 2745 Hillcrest Ave, Antioch, CA 94509 continues this legacy of excellence and innovation. This particular franchise represents the company’s commitment to bringing quality pizza and convenient dining options directly to customers’ doors throughout the Antioch community and surrounding areas.[1][5]

The story of Domino’s Pizza began in 1960 when brothers Tom and James Monaghan took over the operation of DomiNick’s, a small pizza restaurant in Ypsilanti, Michigan.[2][3] What started as a single location with a simple but powerful philosophy—delivering hot pizzas quickly to hungry customers—has evolved into the world’s largest pizza company.[5] Tom Monaghan, who had been raised in Catholic orphanages and foster homes, understood the importance of not just delivering pizzas, but promising fast delivery to keep customers satisfied.[3] This foundational principle became the cornerstone of Domino’s business model and remains central to operations today.

The Antioch location at 2745 Hillcrest Ave, Antioch, CA 94509 operates as a delivery and carryout establishment, offering customers the flexibility to enjoy their meals at home or on the go. The restaurant specializes in a wide range of pizzas crafted to suit diverse tastes and preferences, from classic cheese pizzas to specialty combinations. Beyond pizza, the menu has expanded significantly over the decades to include chicken wings, breadsticks, and various other sides and dishes that complement the core pizza offerings.[3][4] This diversification reflects Domino’s evolution from a pizza-only establishment to a comprehensive casual dining delivery service.

The franchising model proved instrumental in Domino’s explosive growth throughout the 1970s and 1980s.[1][3] The first Domino’s franchise store opened in Ypsilanti in 1967, and from there, the chain rapidly expanded across the Midwest and eventually nationwide and internationally.[1] By 1983, Domino’s had opened its first international store in Winnipeg, Canada, and the company continued its aggressive expansion strategy.[3][4] Today, with more than 95% of Domino’s franchisees having started as pizza makers or delivery experts, the company maintains a strong connection to its operational roots while scaling its business model.[5]

The Antioch location can be reached at +1 925-350-4444, providing customers with direct access to place orders, inquire about menu items, or discuss delivery options. The restaurant’s commitment to customer service reflects Domino’s broader organizational values of putting people first and creating inspired solutions.[5] Whether customers prefer delivery to their homes or offices, or wish to pick up their order for carryout, this location accommodates both preferences with efficiency and professionalism.

Domino’s has continuously innovated to enhance the customer experience, introducing online and mobile ordering in 2007 and the revolutionary Domino’s Tracker® technology in 2008, which allows customers to monitor their orders in real-time.[4] The Antioch location benefits from these technological advancements, enabling customers to place orders conveniently through multiple channels and track their deliveries from preparation through arrival.

The Antioch Domino’s Pizza location represents more than just a pizza delivery service; it embodies decades of entrepreneurial spirit, operational excellence, and a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction that has defined the brand since its humble beginnings in 1960.[5]

The employees said to pull up to the front where they would give us our order, we then sat 13 minutes watching the young employees messing around hugging and kissing eachother while sitting on the counter when we decided to go to the drive through again they said "its not our problem, we aren't obligated to give you food at the front". Terrible service, employees, and they managed to undercook the pizza.

Good pizza. Fast delivery. Only one issue. They close at midnight, which is fine. But if you place an order close to closing time, the food quality drops to less than half. It's burnt, or undercooked, slapped together because you can tell the employees want to go home. Obvious.

Ordered a pizza with Extra Mushroom and Extra Spinach and extra Philly steak this is what I got. Tell me why this looks like the original with normal amounts of everything. Super disappointed and I will be requesting a refund. That two pieces of spinach on top of eachother doesn’t count as extra.

Domino’s is supposed to be a reliable go-to. Working in San Francisco, commuting back-and-forth every day, I like to be able to call in a pizza order sometimes rather than cooking at the end of an already long day. Unfortunately, service at this location just really sucks. I ordered my pizzas with the regular crust, and I got the crust paper thin. I got the chicken and loaded tots, both were burned. I mean, come on. ADDED NOTE: 06 FEBRUARY 2025 The owner/management posted a reply last month that seemed like a sincere apology. They asked me to reached out and provide them with some information so that they could make it right. So I did reach out several weeks ago to the email address provided, and have received no response. Evidently, the apology wasn't as sincere as it appeared. I am downgrading to one star and won't be returning to this Domino's in the future. And I just want to be clear: I feel like Domino's as a whole is a pretty good chain. The pizzas are decent and the service is usually quick and friendly most of the other locations I've been to. I just don't recommend this franchise location.

This is not the first nor second time they have messed up my order, more regularly it's the parmesan bread bites. More times than I can count, they have ruined the bread bites, either by over cooking them, under seasoning them, or somehow flattening them, and that's not the first time. Not to mention burning the pizza. I like the convenience of the pick up window but with the caliber of the cooks they have it's just not worth it
